Quoting a statement by Gokhan Taş, head of the “Masterturk” group of the American company, he said that real estate sales in Turkey 2022 achieved record growth rates.

Gökhan Taş added that real estate sales in Turkey 2022 have grown by 31%, with 726,000 properties sold during the first half of 2022.

Tash also indicated that during this mentioned period, 208 thousand new homes were sold, while sales of used homes reached 517,000.

According to Anadolu Agency, as quoted by sources from the Ministry of Environment, Urban Planning and Climate Change in Turkey, real estate sales in Turkey during January 2022 witnessed the completion of 199,111 real estate sales transactions, while the sales number rose to 217,673 deals during February 2022, i.e. the total transactions reached During the first two months of this year, it reached about 416,784 deals.
Apartments got the largest share of real estate sales in Turkey with 176 thousand and 46 properties, followed by land sales with a total of 72 thousand and 833 properties.

Istanbul ranked first with 55,167 real estate sales, followed by the capital, Ankara, with a total of 27,559 real estate sales, then Izmir ranked third with 23,103 real estate sales, and real estate sales to foreigners in Turkey achieved a growth of 54.9 percent during February. This is compared to the same month in 2021.
