Home sale statistics in Turkey
- According to figures released by the Turkish Statistical Institute on Tuesday, the rate of real estate sales to foreigners decreased by 12.4 percent in July compared to the same month the previous year.
- The figures reveal that Russian citizens, who number 1028 homes, are Russian citizens, followed by Iranians with 431 and Iraqis with 380 homes.
- In the same month, home sales in Turkey for 93,902 homes decreased by 37 percent on a monthly basis and by 12.9 percent compared to June of last year.
- In June, Istanbul had the highest real estate sales to foreigners with 14,350 homes, followed by the capital, Ankara, with 7,417 homes, and Izmir 4,868.
